Currently

It's Farley's Currently time!  So, here's mine:

I feel like I should explain some things:

Loving...  The loaner car I'm driving.  My car is a 2009 Dodge Journey.  We bought it new- the lifetime warranty totally sold us!  But, good thing it came with one!  Since we bought it, we've had to totally replace both from and back brakes (I'm not talking just brake pads... the WHOLE thing), the transmission needed to be replaced, and now the paint is CHIPPING!  UGH!  But, never fear, we are under warranty!!  *and please don't think I drive like Mario Andretti, I'm not a speedster!!*

Thinking...  I want to know what your go-to recipe is each night.  I like to cook, but I HATE to figure out what to cook.

Currently and a heads up!

I haven't done a Currently in a while, so I think it's time to jump back on the wagon!!



I just found out, Farley and I share the same birthday month- and I don't know about you,  but I love having birthday and Mother's Day in the same month- because it means a bigger gift from the hubs!!  (and I'm with you Farley- if it sparkles it ain't bad!!)  Although the past couple of years, Ben has been very practical (at my suggestion....) for things for our house.  We just finished adding on to our house- and I was wanting things like a screen door or a pretty mirror for our living room...  Anyway- if you're interested, you can check out our house transformation here at my personal blog

March Literacy Centers and Currently!

House:  Students are asked to read a story to a baby doll and then fill out the reader response paper:

 Letter Tiles:  March words!

 Playdough:  Short e words.  Comes with record sheet (not shown here.)

 Poetry:  Baa Baa Black Sheep

 Teacher center:  Vowel recognition.  Students are supposed to sort the words into vowel groups.

 Writing prompt:  My kite....
